It started out as a romantic comedy Became a tragedy Ended up as a God damn horror And now I'm the monster, I'm the monster Her new Boyfriend's not so clean Jeffrey Epstein meets Harvey Weinstein But she thinks he's a wet dream And still, I'm the monster, I'm the monster You're messed up and I'm the monster now You can take that to the bank with you You can tell everybody it's true She drinks wine by the gallon She wants Charlie Sheen meets Woody Allen She lives a life of glamour She's buying time shares from Armie Hammer Sends postcards to Spector in the Slammer And you can take that to the bank with you And you can tell everybody it's true Started out as a romantic comedy Became a Greek tragedy Ended up as a God damn horror And now I'm the monster, I'm the monster You're messed up and I'm the monster now And you can take that to the bank with you And you can tell everybody it's true You can point and shoot and I'll dance for you And you can tell everybody it's true You can take that down to the bank with you And you can tell everybody

I got eleven dollar bills and the whole world to pay off But eleven dollar bills won't buy me a day off Seeing you even just for a minute is like Drinking whiskey with nothing else in it And I'm just sitting here, worrying about the Ukraine Round here the past it always follows you around There's only so many streets in this little town Seeing you even just for a minute is like Drinking whiskey with nothing else in it And I'm just sitting here, worrying about the Ukraine I will say this much for you (You got) All the right words When I don't know what to say (You say) Just sing with the birds and (just) fly away Seeing you even just for a minute is like Drinking whiskey with nothing else in it And I'm just sitting here, worrying about the Ukraine (x3)

This old dog 02:53
Re- read your letter Was glad things was better You said to get here and I think that be best I broke down stateside, hitched a lonely ride To where that sun, it sinks down in the West Who's gonna be there when you break Who's gonna pay for your mistakes Who'll be around when that house of cards shakes down Honey I may, if this old Dog has his day Last night your voice it came, came down the line sayin' Life can change, it can change on a dime You got off listing, things I'd been missing but You never gave me no places nor times Who's gonna be there when you break Who's gonna pay for your mistakes Who'll be around when that house of cards, it shakes down Honey, I may, if this ol' Dog has his day Who's gonna pay for your mistakes Who'll sweep up all your broken plates Who'll be around when that house of cards shakes down I may If this old Dog has his day ....

Recover by the seaside Where the Ocean and the land collide With nothing on my mind You fill my soul. when I lose control Your voice is all I need, just to know you're breathing Too much, too late, I was hoping that you would wait now I'm climbing out this hole and I'm Looking back with regret I'm looking back with regret So we say goodbye and you watch me leaving I'm too tired to talk I'm just too tired to sleep Too much, too late, I was hoping that you would wait now I'm climbing out this hole and I'm Looking back with regret I'm looking back with regret ( Continued)

Bus Stop 02:47
Selling the beautiful lie Upwards, write your name in the sky In my mind, it's just a fine line Got no alibi, just a bottle of wine And we'll wait, in the night By the bus stop by the light And say our goodbyes, so goodnight to you, goodbye It's nice to know you I could show you, what's under the line As complicated as a blade of grass, and a broken glass And promises on the sly And we'll wait, in the night By the bus stop by the light And say our goodbyes, so goodnight to you, goodbye On every street, there's a sign that you once were mine It's time to go home, you won't be alone On every street there's a crime and you once was mine It's time to go home, you won't be alone

Gun shy 03:34
So where were you 2022? We sit and shoot the breeze a while I thought that you were something else I really, really really don't know Hiding out in my own space Too gun shy to show my face I thought that you were something else I really. really, really should have known Really understand your point of view And everything you said to me rings true Don't tell me I'm the only one I'm not the only one So take your life, and throw it all to hell It's over now but I wish you well I thought that were coming home I really, really should have known Really understand your point of view And everything you said to me rings true Don't tell me I'm the only one I'm not the only one If you go down, I'll go down with you Down through the Mill, and down to the old road and I know it's true Say run and I'll run with you Down through the Mill, and down to the old road and I know it's true Really understand your point of view And everything you said to me rings true Don't tell me I'm the only one I'm not the only one And I hear you're doing fine I know it's been a long and lonely time But don't tell me I'm the only one I'm not the only one

I am Judas 04:21
We're breaking down Barricades Talking through Charades I've been waiting my whole life just to say What you said today They tell me you're leaving Having trouble with sleeping Now you got a bad case of the blues I won't wear those shoes I'm waiting ( I'm waiting) I'm waiting to reveal myself I am Judas You say anything But don't call me that Won't show no emotion Don't need the commotion Wherever I went, there I was Just because I'm waiting ( I'm waiting) I'm waiting to reveal myself I am Judas You can say anything You can say anything But don't call me that

Off the track But now I'm coming back It took a fall To make me see right through you all Some are broken are lost Find a river they can't get across And it weighs heavy on my mind One's too much A thousand's not enough The boat is steady, when the water's heavy Some are burdened some are lost Found a river that I couldn't cross It's overrated It's complicated It weighs heavy on my mind Heavy on mind It's complicated, it's heavy on my mind It's overrated, Heavy on my mind (x2) (Insert kick ass guitar solo from David here) It's complicated It's overrated, weighs heavy on my mind Heavy on my mind It's complicated Heavy on my mind It's overrated Heavy on my mind I'm re- instated Heavy on my mind (x3)

Don't think of me Don't stop or make a call Look, I might be gone away These times can take a toll Shoot it down, it's full of holes And do you recognize, a memory it's full of lies With timing as sound A station on the underground And you can be mean, and you can be cool And I know everything about you..... You can walk out Chew it up and spit it out Or we can work it out Something we could talk about And do you recognize, a memory that's filled with lies With timing as sound A station on the underground And you can be mean, and you can be cool And I know everything about you....

Time, takes you away And leaves you with nothing to show For some nights out on the time I've been where you are now I've worn the same scars how It's changed, in a moment of time I've read all the books, and told all the stories I know them by heart, I know them by heart It's time to get moving, and make your own movies I know it's a start, I know it, I know it by heart Years, well they all flow by, when old friends they pass by It's changed with the roll of the dice I've been where you are now I've worn the same scars It's changed, in the blink of an eye I've read all the books, and told all the stories I know them by heart, I know them by heart It's time to get moving, and make your own movies I know it's a start, I know it, I know it by heart Time said it would be there for us Take care of us And keep everyone strong But time wasn't there for us at all Didn't care for us at all, got on the bus and went home ( I know it by) I've read all the books ( I know it, I know it) I've told all the stories ( I know it, I know it) It's time to get moving ( I know it, I know it) And make your own movies ( I know it, I know it by heart) I know it by heart....

Sunrise over the ocean, sun sets over the town Barely hanging on for years Same speed but different gears It's too late for you my Dear Some hard promises.... There's a fault line on these hands Just sentient grains of sand Out into the either land On a beach that goes forever Sunrise over the ocean, sun sets over the town I'm where I wanna be, Waiharakeki Kick of the shackles at night And nothing ever looked so pretty As midnight in Sydney city and I might not get home tonight Sunrise over the ocean, sun sets over the town

Some nights this city takes it's toll Slowly chokes, but still I know I can hide from it all The cement arms misery Loneliness needs to be With good company So we ungirt everything, and we disappear on the motorways Until we reach Scarborough Hill With nothing there but scenery Of the ocean holding back the city It all made sense to me With only the stars to hear us shout We fuelled the night, until we passed out And laughed at how good it felt We stayed there morning came And the day drove us back again The winds blow still On Scarborough Hill
